Free passes are available throughout August for active duty, veterans, and the National Guard.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) shares its gratitude to the U.S. military by offering free admission to all state parks in August. This free offer is intended for active duty military personnel, veterans and the National Guard.

The passes became available on August 1.

This extends to the military and veterans, residents and non-residents. All you need to do to collect a free August Military Pass at any state park or CPW office is show proof of service.

In addition, the free August military pass is not valid for access to state wildlife reserves.

In addition to free entry passes, CPW offers a ton of great military benefits for active duty, veterans and disabled veterans, including free entry on Veterans Day and more. You can read more about the military benefits of CPW here.
