OMAHA, Neb., May 26, 2021 / PRNewswire / – In honor of our men and women who have served in the country’s military, Home Rather, the world’s leading provider of home care services for the elderly, has announced the creation of a new program Annual Franchisee Incentive for Veterans.

Home Rather, which was recently recognized by Franchise Business Review as a top franchise for veterans, piloted the new incentive program last fall, granting franchise fee waivers for veterans Catrice morris, U.S. Army Senior Human Resources Sgt. Morris, who served in the United States and Iraq, opened a Home franchise instead of Smithfield, North Carolina, and currently provides care to the elderly in her community. His inspiration convinced Home Rather that this career initiative would be a great offer for other entrepreneurial-minded veterans.
“My military career has given me the opportunity to give back to my country, and I have found that continuing this service commitment with Home instead is very rewarding,” said Morris. “I am delighted with the opportunity this program has created to help me start my own business and serve seniors in the Smithfield community.”
To be eligible for Service mission Incentive program, veteran applicants must be willing to relocate to a market where a Home Rather franchise is available. Applicants should have a track record of success as managers and leaders of people. Successful applicants will also have a servant’s heart eager to build a business that gives back to the communities it serves.
In addition to the new Mission to Service program, Home Rather offers veterans opportunities to acquire a franchise through the VetFran program, a voluntary effort by member companies of the International Franchise Association (IFA) to encourage franchise ownership in offering financial incentives to honorably released veterans. Home Instead is proud to be a 5 Star Franchisor of the VetFran community, offering a 20% reduction on the initial franchise fee to qualified military personnel who are approved and start a franchise from scratch.
