The Fallen Heroes United Veterans and Athletes Memorial Dog Tag Flag will be displayed at the Patriot Park Global War on Terrorism Memorial in Stoystown Thursday through Tuesday, July 5.

The memorial is made up of more than 7,000 dog tags engraved with all the names of those who fell in the War on Terror.

The park, at 6150 Lincoln Highway, Stoystown, is open free to the public from 9 a.m. until dusk daily.

The VAU Fallen Heroes Memorial was completed in 2018 and stands 6 feet tall and 28 feet wide.

It includes 50 Gold Stars honoring Gold Star families nationwide and has traveled to over 60 locations nationwide since its completion.

Veterans & Athletes United is an all-veterans 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides programs to support veterans with disabilities and honors all fallen heroes of the War on Terror. Additionally, the mission of the GWOT Memorial Foundation is to build a national memorial in Washington, D.C.
